(ContentDesk) July 18, 2004 -- China Announces 2nd Bi-annual Chinese Entertainment Industry Forum The People's Republic of China is holding its second international conference on the emerging Chinese entertainment industry Sept. 12-15, 2004. The bi-annual event, billed as the "International Forum on China Culture Industry" will host international media luminaries in the fields of film, television, music, publishing, and electronic media to meet with entrepreneurial Chinese counterparts and government officials in the historic cities of Taiyuan and Pingyao in Shanxi province.Three days of presentations, panels, and press conferences with producers, directors, designers, actors and other entertainment industry executives will explore businessopportunities and share professional expertise.This year's primary focus will be in the fields of animation and children's education, but many topics of discussion will be wider in scope to address various aspects of entertainment media."Companies that want to contribute to the culture and engage in Sino-American entertainment business should contact us about participating in the Forum," said Sander Johnson, President of AMERICAN TELEVISION IN CHINA (ATC), authorized to extend invitations and coordinate American participation in the event.
