New 40-hour Lean Manufacturing Certification Course Available by
Gary Conner, author of the Shingo Prize winning text "Lean for the Small Shop," has developed a 40-hour course to help non OEM's (original equipment manufacturers) to apply the many tools in the Lean toolbox.Four workshops are scheduled in coming months:October 11-15 Seattle, WashingtonOctober 25-29 Las Vegas, NevadaDecember 6-10 Newport, OregonDecember 27-31 Portland, Oregon The August session in Portland was so well attended that it had to split it into two groups. Reserve your seat(s) now for one of these events.Many Job Shops, Make-to-Order shops and those companies with "high-mix, low volume" sales have struggled with how to apply the Toyota Production System in their unique environment. This hybrid approach had proven itself in over 70 companies, and dozens of industries. Recent workshop attendees have rated the program 6.4 or higher (scale of 1-7) for quality, relevance and delivery. Course outlines are available by e-mail. Pricing is $1495 per person for the entire week.The program was designed using "Train-the-Trainer" principles.
