Study Finds Manufacturing Execs Plan For Increased Online Marketing Spending In 2005 by
Parsippany, NJ January 20, 2005 -– Manufacturing firms will be embracing e-business and online marketing in 2005 to address their top business challenges, according to the results of a comprehensive study conducted by SVM E-Business Solutions, in cooperation with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. The study, which surveyed more than 80 executives at U.S. firms about e-commerce and online marketing trends, found that sales lead generation, growing market share, and strengthening relationships with customers rank as the most important business challenges in 2005. To address these challenges, manufacturers will be embracing the Web and online marketing with 62% of manufacturers recreating their Web site in 2005, 50% engaging in search engine marketing, and 45% conducting email campaigns."Manufacturing marketing executives clearly realize the impact e-business has on their company's success," notes Bob DeStefano, president of SVM E-Business Solutions.
