Cei Opens New Cleanroom Manufacturing Facility In Syracuse, New York by
Syracuse, NY (ContentDesk) February 6, 2004--Cleanroom Enterprises Inc. (CEI) has launched a new, state-of the art, 30,000 square foot operation adjoining their headquarters at 112 Pickard Street in Syracuse. The new plant will employ 26 and the company is currently hiring. CEI produces high-quality modular cleanroom wall and walkable ceiling panels, as well as other components for the cleanroom industry. The products are used in aseptic cleanroom environments, most often in pharmaceutical environments. Cleanroom Enterprises was established early last year by M. Ronald Harms, president and CEO, when French company Clestra Cleanroom SA ceased its North American operations. Sales, engineering and service are performed from the Syracuse location in addition to manufacturing.Renovation of the space was funded, in part, by a grant from Empire State Development, the state's economic development agency. CEI is located within Onondaga County's Empire Development Zone (EDZ) and is currently applying for EDZ status."We appreciate the state's confidence in Cleanroom Enterprises and its investment in keeping jobs locally," Harms said. "We're now in a strong position to capture a significant share of the North, South and Central America markets. Because we're our products in the US, lead times are down to two to four weeks. Costs are also down because we don't have to pay shipping or import duties."Cleanroom Enterprises Inc., CEI, is headquartered at 112 Pickard Drive, Syracuse, NY 13211 and can be reached by phone toll free at 800-CLES-USA or (315) 455-0708; by email at e-mail protected from spam bots; or on the Web at www.cleanroom-enterprises.com.
